THANK YOU

How do we say ‘Thank you’ to all the girls and boys, the women and men who have sent messages of compassion, condolence, love and friendship to us, when they heard that our Michael had died so suddenly and so tragically?

What can we say to all of you who came to Brighton and found your way to the Unitarian Church on Thursday 13th April – not to celebrate Maundy Thursday but to celebrate Michael’s life?

We, that’s Mij, Rich, Sara, Lara, Adrian – and we are sure, Michael – were and are overwhelmed by your kindnesses and the way that you all wanted to say in your own way ‘Michael – you have been such a special person to us, we will always remember you’.

So thank all of you who helped to make the gathering on that Thursday so amazing – Anthea, Tina, Ed, Harry, Oscar, Billy, Saif, Cara and her team, Rebecca, Marion and Kate.

To all of you have written to us to share your memories of Michael – we are finding out so much more about him than we ever thought we knew, which make us love him even more.  Mij and Adrian will try and reply to everyone who has written to us – as long as we have your postal address! Please bear with us as it will take us a little while.

For those of you who couldn’t come to Brighton, we thought we should share some of the poems, readings, memories, sentiments and blessings that were read out at the service. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
